Step 2: Get Your Collection Published

After joining Mintmade as a partner, you need to get your collection published. Mintmade will provide instructions and guidance on how to do this.

Step 3: Get Your Collection URL

Once your collection is published, you will be given a unique collection URL. This URL will follow the format nft.medianame.com.

Step 4: Create the Collectible Link

Now you're ready to create a link for each collectible. This link will be used to mint a new collectible for a specific article.

The link should follow this format: https://{your collection url}/{articleslug}

Replace {your collection url} with your actual collection URL and {articleslug} with the slug for the specific article.

Step 5: Add UTM Tags

Next, add UTM tags to the end of your link. This helps track where your traffic is coming from. The tags should be in the following format: &utm_source={medianame}&utm_medium=customlink&utm_campaign=articles

Replace {medianame} with the name of your media outlet in the following format domain_tld (replacing "." with "_").

So your final link will look something like this: https://{your collection url}/{articleslug}&utm_source={medianame}&utm_medium=customlink&utm_campaign=articles

Step 6: Test Your Link

Finally, make sure to test your link to ensure it's working correctly. Clicking on the link should lead to the minting of a new collectible for the specific article.

Note: The {articleslug} can be retrieved automatically, but you will need a developer's support for this.
